Scared Crab Freed From Fishing Line

ID: 1497717

A petrified crab tangled in a littered fishing line halts trying to scurry away from a diver when he realises she’s cutting him free.

The crab, who was hanging from an underwater pylon, appeared to be dead until veteran diver, Jules Casey started to remove the braided fishing line with her blunt safety knife.

Jules put her fear of the little critters aside so she could free the crab from the effects of a littered ocean, saving the creatures life.

The rescue was captured April 11 on an underwater GoPro secured to the divers head, surrounded by the deep turquoise waters off the coast of Rye, Australia.
