Heavy rains across Papua New Guinea on Thursday helped replenish water storage bins at the Manus Island detention centre.
But food shortages are worrying the detainees, many of them from war-torn nations such as Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Syria.
